Arnabh Sengupta amd Anirudh Anilkumar, AFMC The annual version of Quizzgasm, at Vedant, BJ Medical College took place on 27th afternoon, hosted by the one and only Omkar Dhakephalkar. It started off with a 25 question preliminary round which covered almost all domains. AFMC teams dominated the list of 6 finalists, as the final round began with an interesting video of the highlights of Rome shown with a flavour which engineers and GoT fans would love, and the teams were asked to name all 17 places shown. This was followed by a bounce-pounce round of 15 questions, and the teams fared quite well, as the fundae were always just within one's reach, but never truly obvious. Every year the Boat Club Quiz Club conducts the BCQC College Quizzes of the Year. Divided in two segments, the Best College Quizzer of the Year and the Best College Quizzing Team of the Year, the quizzes see the finest of Pune's college quizzers fight it out for the coveted title. The 2017 edition took place on the 6th of August, Sunday, at the College of Engineering, Pune. There was a range of quizzes on various topics with quizzes being open as well as restricted to college students. This weekend introduced many new quizmasters, who set quizzes according to their interests. The weekend was a success thanks to the combined efforts of the entire club.
