The provision of Red Bull by the quiz organisers significantly improved the performance of young Anand Shivshankar who after having gulped down 2 cans started spewing out answers like The Little Prince and Kendriya Vidyalaya

It takes not a blue pill but a red bull to rouse him.

Sports:
Certainly a "true" sports quiz on a nostalgic Sunday morning, since the quiz setting was a few hundred metres where I've lived in yes, 3 different houses.

Tough, testing deep knowledge & one elims where nobody would start counting the ones they'd missed. The QM said elims covered 29 disciplines. Frankly, I cannot even name 29 & you're a better man Gunga din etc. Enjoyed almost all q's .

Finals-even more comprehensive. Erudition of QM was not remotely touched by the hapless teams who kept waiting like Dravid letting faster balls go thorugh & hoping nothing was aimed straight. A few were easier & practically all points were scored there. Close enough three-way contest. Lucky to scrape a win on the home stretch thanks to my ahem, analysis, of the q asked on Pounce. Suraj & Avaneendra were within sniffing distance of the tape
