Twenty-four people stayed back to contest the second quiz of the day, after a hearty Suraj Menon written quiz. BCQC September 2026 Open Quizzes #1: Sab Dalo(t) Report

Quiz:  Sab Dalo(t) Date & Time: 27   Sep, 2026, Morning Venue: Goethe Institut,  Max Mueller Bhavan, Pune Format: Written Quiz Flavour:  General QM(s): Suraj Menon Report: Shivam Sharma  The morning of 27th September saw a substantial gathering of curious minded folks who arrived at the shady (because of the trees and not otherwise) venue of Goethe Institute situated on the Boat Club Road. The first quiz by BCQC star Suraj Menon was titled 'Sab Dalo(t)' and contained 40 questions.  Being a written general quiz, the topics ranged from Geography to literature to brands and quirky fundas. It was from those of Suraj's questions "jinko quizmaster ka pyaar nahi mil paya'. Rest assured though, a lot of pyaar was given to the quiz by the attendees.   Welcome to the BCQC. This stands for the Boat Club Quiz Club. We promote quizzing in Pune, India. The BCQC is a volunteer group of avid quizzers based in Pune who conduct informal sessions, formal quizzes, and also share information on quizzes in Pune and around India. We also host written quizzes conducted by quiz clubs from India and from outside India. New to an informal quiz session or have questions about sessions? The BCQC meets regularly, usually during informal sessions. Each session is conducted by one or more volunteer quizmasters. Sometimes, there is a specific theme, such as sports or entertainment, but most often, quizzes feature a mixed bag of topics. In a typical session, the quizmaster will go through a set of questions in one single round. Most sessions are about 90 to 120 mins long.
