The morning of 27th September saw a substantial gathering of curious minded folks who arrived at the shady (because of the trees and not otherwise) venue of Goethe Institute situated on the Boat Club Road. The first quiz by BCQC star Suraj Menon was titled 'Sab Dalo(t)' and contained 40 questions.
Being a written general quiz, the topics ranged from Geography to literature to brands and quirky fundas. It was from those of Suraj's questions "jinko quizmaster ka pyaar nahi mil paya'. Rest assured though, a lot of pyaar was given to the quiz by the attendees.
My personal favorite was a question on the etymology of the phrase 'Aandhi-Toofan'.
The top 3 standings were as follows -
1. Annway ghosh and Aman Rai : 40.5
2. Harish, Ramanand: 38.5
3. Akshay, Charles: 34
The quiz lasted around 2 hours and had the audience glued to the (super large) screen.
